Eddie Wayne Patteson

     A Baxter County Level 3 Sex Offender, 45 year old EDDIE WAYNE PATTESON, has been arrested and charged with violating the Arkansas Sex Offender Registration Requirements after investigators learned he was not residing at his stated and registered address at 64 CR 889 in the Gassville area.

     The Sheriff’s Office received a tip that PATTESON had moved from that address and was residing somewhere in the Springdale, Arkansas area.  PATTESON was contacted on March 4th and advised of the information that had been received.  On that date, PATTESON informed the Sheriff’s Office that he had only been visiting at a location in Springdale for a few days but had not moved there.

     On March 10th, the Sheriff’s Office received a second citizen tip again saying PATTESON was living in Springfield and not at his stated address.  Further investigation revealed that PATTESON had actually moved out of the Gassville address in January, 2016 and was indeed living in the Springdale area. The Springdale Police Department was informed of this information.

     EDDIE WAYNE PATTESON was arrested on March 15th on a felony charge of Failure to Register and booked into the Baxter County Detention Center.  He is being held in lieu of $15,000 bond and will appear today in the Baxter County Circuit Court to answer.
