INVESTIGATORS MAKE ARREST IN BURGLARY CASE

The Sheriff’s Office has arrested 31 year old JESSICA DENISE CLARK of Jordan, Arkansas on burglary and theft charges following an investigation into a burglary report that was made on January 17th on Fan Leaf Ln. in the Norfork area.
The victim reported she came home and found the door to her residence open. When she went inside, she saw the residence had been burglarized and she contacted the Sheriff’s Office. Stolen during the burglary were two wooden jewelry boxes, ten homemade knives, two ammunition boxes containing various ammunition, and a metal gun locker. In the gun locker were five firearms of various calibers. The approximate value of these items is undetermined at this time.
Investigators developed JESSICA CLARK as a suspect in the burglary. She was found at a residence on Wild Fern Ln and brought to the Sheriff’s Office on January 25th on an outstanding traffic warrant. During questioning, CLARK admitted to burglarizing the residence in question. CLARK took investigators to a location where some of the stolen items had been stored. Investigators recovered two of the stolen firearms, two ammunition boxes with various types of ammunition. A jewelry box and jewelry were also recovered. Two additional firearms were later recovered as well. At this time, one firearm, one jewelry box, and the ten homemade knives are still missing.
JESSICA CLARK was transported to the Detention Center where she was booked in on the evening of January 25th on charges of:
Residential Burglary – Felony
Theft of Property (6 counts) – Felonies
She is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond and will appear in Circuit Court to answer on February 4th.
