Rodney E. Buck

     The Sheriff’s Office has arrested 53 year old RODNEY EUGENE BUCK of rural Mountain Home for selling methamphetamine to a person cooperating with law enforcement.

     The cooperating individual made arrangements on September 29, 2015 to purchase methamphetamine from RODNEY BUCK, and approximately 1 gram of methamphetamine was bought from BUCK for $100.00 on that same day.  This transaction was monitored and recorded by investigators. BUCK utilized a cellular phone to facilitate the transaction.

     RODNEY BUCK was arrested the morning of January 8, 2016 and booked into the Detention Center on charges of:

Delivery of Methamphetamine – Felony
Unlawful Use of a Communications Device – Felony

     He was released the same day after posting $5,000 bond and will appear in Circuit Court to answer on January 14th.  The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Mountain Home Police Department, and the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force participated in the investigation.
