TWO ARRESTED FOR DELIVERY OF METHAMPHETAMINE

The Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Mountain Home couple, 47 year old JERRY LEE BROWN and 46 year old REBECCA JENEANE BROWN, on felony drug charges after making controlled buys of methamphetamine from them using a cooperating individual.
The first transaction took place on November 4th when the CI bought approximately 1.2 grams of methamphetamine for $50.00 from the offenders.
The second transaction took place later the same day when the CI bought additional methamphetamine weighing approximately .9 grams for $50.00 from the offenders.
The offenders utilized a cellular phone to facilitate these sales, and they took place near an elementary school. JERRY BROWN and REBECCA BROWN were arrested on the afternoon of December 10th and booked into the Detention Center each on the same charges of:
Delivery of Methamphetamine (2 counts) – Felonies
Unlawful Use of Communications Device (2 counts) – Felonies
Distribution Near Certain Facilities (a school) – Penalty Enhancement
They are being held in the Detention Center in lieu of $25,000 bond each and will appear in Circuit Court on January 7th.
The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force were involved in the investigation and arrest.
