PROBATION HOME VISIT SENDS MAN TO JAIL ON NEW DRUG CHARGES

A 46 year old rural Mountain Home man, GORDAN BRIAN COX, was arrested Thursday evening, October 15th, on drug charges after Sheriff’s Investigators and Officers with the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections conducted a probation home visit at his residence.
During a search of the residence, officers found approximately 1.1 grams of methamphetamine, used syringes, smoking devices, and other drug paraphernalia. GORDAN COX was arrested and transported to the Detention Center. He was booked on charges of:
Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor
Probation Violation Hold
Bond on the new drug charges if $15,000, and COX will appear in Circuit Court on November 22nd to answer.
