MOUNTAIN HOME MAN ARRESTED FOR STABBING MAN IN SHOULDER

CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL McDANIEL, 32 years old of Mountain Home, was arrested Saturday morning, July 18th, on a charge of Aggravated Assault after calling the 911 Center at approximately 7:43 AM to report he had stabbed a friend of his. McDANIEL stated the incident occurred at a residence on Highway 62 East of Mountain Home, and that he had left the residence on foot.
Sheriff’s Deputies located McDANIEL in the area of Walmart on E. Hwy 62 B. A deputy then went to locate the residence where the incident happened, which was found to be 4336 Hwy 62 E.
When the deputy arrived at the residence, a male victim came to the door. He had been stabbed in the area of his left shoulder. The victim stated that he and McDANIEL were friends and that they live there together. The incident was precipitated by an argument over some things on Facebook. The victim was stabbed once in the left shoulder. He was tended at the residence by emergency medical personnel but did not seeks hospital emergency room care at that time.
CHRISTOPHER McDANIEL was arrested and taken to the Detention Center where he was booked on one count of Aggravated Assault – Felony. He is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond with a court appearance set for July 30th.
