The Sheriff’s Office responded to and is investigating an apparent suicide that occurred at 1091 CR 46 in Henderson on June 8th.  The call came to the 911 center at approximately 5:17 PM reporting a deceased female at the residence.

     Deputies arrived on scene and found 42 year old Shonna Lee Dunaway of the residence deceased inside the home from what evidence indicated to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. 

     The Baxter County Coroner’s Office took possession of the decedent.  The decedent is being sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office in Little Rock for autopsy.

    No foul play is suspected, however the case will remain open until the autopsy results are available for investigative review.
