INMATE VISITATION DATE AND TIMES TO CHANGE FOR FEMALE JAIL INMATES
04/27/2015
In order to accommodate the increase in the number of inmates and visitors and to streamline the visitation process, the Sheriff’s Office is modifying visitation dates and times for some county jail inmates.
Beginning Friday, May 8th, visitation for all female inmates will be on Fridays from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM.
Visitation for male inmates will continue to be Mondays from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM if the male inmate’s last name starts with the letters A to M, and Wednesdays from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM if the male inmate’s last name starts with the letters N to Z.
Each inmate is allowed a total of thirty (30) minutes of visitation. This may be broken down in increments to allow for a separate visitation with more than one visitor.
Each visitor must present a current government-issued photo identification card upon arriving at the detention center to visit. The ID and vehicle keys are the only personal items that a visitor may bring into the detention center. The detention center is a secured facility. Contact visits are not permitted.
Visitation is a privilege and may with withheld or revoked for violating jail rules and regulations or whenever a unique and unforeseen situation at the detention center may not conducive to allowing for visitation on the date in question. Visitors may telephone the detention center in advance to confirm if visitation will take place on a specific date.
