SHERIFF'S OFFICE LOOKING FOR SUSPECT IN DISTURBANCE/SHOOTING INCIDENT

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a disturbance that occurred Thursday evening, April 23rd, at 156 Cochran Drive that involved a man being slightly injured from a gunshot wound.
At approximately 11:20 PM, the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a 911 call made from that residence reporting the incident. Deputies arrived a short time later. They found that a 30 year old man whose left arm had been grazed by a bullet fired at him by a suspect who had fled from the scene. An ambulance was called for, but the victim refused medical attention.
Deputies were told that the suspect had come to the victim’s residence for the purpose of retrieving personal property belonging to a third party. A physical struggle ensued, with the suspect apparently shooting a firearm at the victim.
The victim identified his assailant as JAYCOB LUKE ANDERSON, 30 years of age with a last known address in Bexar, Arkansas. He was last seen leaving the residence in a blue SUV, either a Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon, with partial Arkansas License “WII”.
Anyone having information as to the current whereabouts of JAYCOB LUKE ANDERSON, who is believed to be armed, is asked to notify the Sheriff’s Office.
