DEPUTY ARRESTS WOMAN ON DRUG CHARGES DURING TRAFFIC STOP

VIOLET LECLERCQ-HERMAN, 21 years old of Terre Haute, Indiana, was arrested Tuesday evening, April 14th, by Sheriff’s Deputy Rockie Morrell on drug charges after pulling her over on State Highway 5, South of Mountain Home.
Deputy Morrell stopped LECLERCQ-HERMAN for driving left of the center of the roadway. After making contact with her, Deputy Morrell smelled the odor of burned marijuana in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted. The deputy found approximately 92.4 grams of marijuana inside a mason jar in the vehicle, which had been pre-packaged into smaller amounts for distribution. A marijuana smoking device was also found.
VIOLET LECLERCQ-HERMAN was arrested and transported to the Detention Center on charges of:
Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance with Purpose of Delivery – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor
Drove Left of Center – Misdemeanor
She is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond, and she will appear in Circuit Court on April 16th.
