The Sheriff’s Office was called to an apparent suicide on February 19 at approximately 4:57 PM at 10716 Highway 5 North.  The 911 Center received a call from a man who reported he found his son, 33 year old ERIC BLOUNT, inside an outbuilding and possibly deceased. 

     Sheriff’s Deputies and EMS were dispatched.  The victim was found to have apparently hung himself and was determined to be deceased.  Sheriff’s Investigators and the County Coroner were called to the scene.  The Coroner took possession of the decedent, who is being sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office in Little Rock for autopsy to determine cause and manner of death.

     There is no indication of foul play, however the case will remain open pending receipt of the preliminary autopsy results.
