Sarah C. Moad

     The Sheriff’s Office this afternoon arrested 31 year old SARAH CATHLEEN MOAD of rural Mountain Home on drug charges after deputies were called to her residence on Mallard Point Road by another member of the household.

     The complaining party told the deputy that a package had been delivered to the house by the postal service that was addressed to SARAH MOAD.  The package was opened, and suspected illegal drugs were found inside.  The deputy confiscated the articles and later had them field tested.  The substances tested positive for methamphetamine and marijuana.

     SARAH MOAD was later contacted and asked to come to the Sheriff’s Office for a follow-up investigation, which she did.  Afterwards, she was arrested and taken to the Detention Center on charges of:

Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) – Felony
Possession of Controlled Substance (Marijuana) – Misdemeanor
Unlawful Use of Communication Device – Felony

     SARAH MOAD remains in custody in lieu of $10,000 bond.  She is scheduled to appear in Circuit Court to answer on December 11^th.
