10/02/2014
Michael L. Watson |
A Norfork man, 63 year old MICHAEL LYNN WATSON, was arrested Wednesday evening, October 1st, after deputies responded to a complaint call at 5:51 PM on Highway 5 South in Norfork from a man who reported that WATSON had pointed and fired a long gun in his direction as he was driving by.
Deputies responded to conduct an investigation. It was determined that there is a history of animus between WATSON and the other party that likely prompted the incident.
Following the investigation, Sheriff’s Investigators arrested MICHAEL WATSON on a felony charge of Aggravated Assault. The firearm in question, being a 20 gauge shotgun, was taken into evidence. WATSON was transported to the Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond. He will appear in the Circuit Court to answer on October 9th.
