A called-in citizen tip has resulted in the arrest of a rural Mountain Home man on an outstanding arrest warrant that was issued on September 18, 2013. 41 year old KEVIN DEAN WILSON was arrested April 30th after deputies went to a residence at 17 Bel Aire Circle acting on a citizen tip that KEVIN WILSON was there. Deputies found WILSON at the residence, and he was taken into custody without incident .
The arrest warrant had been obtained last year by Sheriff's Investigator Sgt. Brad Hurst after WILSON’s girlfriend at the time reported to the Sheriff’s Office that he had taken her vehicle without her permission, had assaulted her 15 year old son, and later had used her debit card at a Mountain Home retailer to withdraw $202.50 in funds from her account. It was later determined that KEVIN WILSON had gone to Springfield, Missouri in the stolen vehicle, which was recovered there on a McDonald’s parking lot.
KEVIN DEAN WILSON was booked into the Detention Center at approximately 3:00 PM on April 30th on the following charges specified on the bench warrant:
Theft of Property – Class D Felony
Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card – Class A Misdemeanor
Domestic Battery in the Third Degree – Class A Misdemeanor
Bond on the warrant was set at $5,000.00.
WILSON was also found to have additional outstanding warrants for:
Non Payment of Fines – Misdemeanor
Probation Violation – Misdemeanor
Failure to Appear – Misdemeanor
The bond on these additional misdemeanor warrants is $2,858.93.
