PROBATIONER ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES FOLLOWING HOME VISIT

A rural Mountain Home man, 58 year old THOMAS EARNEST HARVEY, was arrested Wednesday, April 23rd, on drug charges after authorities with the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections, Baxter County Sheriff's Office, and the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force conducted a probationary home visit at HARVEY's residence on Baxter CR 56.
During the home visit, officers found white pills identified as Acetaminophen/Oxycodone Hydrochloride, which is a Schedule II Controlled substance. They also found a used syringe on the floor. As a result of these findings, THOMAS EARNEST HARVEY was arrested and taken to the Detention Center. HARVEY has been convicted of at least four (4) felonies in the past. He was booked in at 12:34 PM on charges of:
Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance - Class D Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Class C Misdemeanor
Habitual Offender Act - Penalty Enhancement
Hold Other Agencies - Marion County Sheriff's Office
THOMAS HARVEY was released from the Detention Center after posting $15,000 bond on the Baxter County charges and $5,000 bond on the Marion County charge. He will appear in Circuit Court on May 1st.
