On Saturday, April 5, 2014 the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call of an unresponsive male at 415 Buzzard Roost Cutoff Road in Mountain Home.  Deputies found a 21 year old male, who lived at that residence, lying on the floor in the living room area. Sheriff’s Investigators were called to process the scene and interview witnesses. Baxter County Coroner, William Snow was called to the residence where he pronounced the victim, Andrew Scott Whitfield deceased.   

The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime lab to determine the cause and manner of death. There is no foul play suspected, however the investigation is continuing.
