PROBATIONER ARRESTED ON NEW FELONY DRUG CHARGES

Officers from the Sheriff's Office, Department of Community Corrections, and the Mountain Home Police Department made a probation home check on Baxter CR 57 this morning and made one arrest. 58 year old THOMAS EARNEST HARVEY was arrested after officers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at the residence.
Approximately 1.3 grams of methamphetamine, syringes, and a set of digital scales were seized and taken into evidence. THOMAS HARVEY was taken to the Baxter County Detention Center where he was booked on felony charges of:
POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE - Class C Felony
POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA - Class D Felony
HARVEY was released from custody after posting $5,000 bail. He will appear in Circuit Court in April.
