Two Arrested For Drug Paraphernalia Following Citizen Tip

The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from a concerned citizen of drug activity taking place at a residence on 16th Street in Mountain Home. An investigation was initiated and surveillance was set up on the residence.
At approximately 1:30 pm, Investigators from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, 14th judicial Drug Task Force and Probation and Parole went to the residence. Inside the residence was several items of drug paraphernalia were located, including, pipes, several baggies containing residue from suspected Methamphetamine, spoons with suspected drug residue and syringes and needles. Joseph Thompson, who lives at the residence was arrested and charged. A female, Jennifer Willett was also found at the residence. A syringe with suspected Methamphetamine residue was found in her purse. She was also arrested without incident. A set of binoculars, which had been reported stolen, were also recovered at the residence. The investigation into the theft is continuing.
Joseph Alvin Thompson, age 56 of Mountain Home was charged with:
Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Thompson was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center and is being held on bond of $2500 pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on October 10, 2013 at 9 am.
Jennifer Brandy Willett, age 38 of Mountain Home was charged with:
Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Willett was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center and is being held on bond of $2500 pending her appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on October 10, 2013 at 9 am. Willett, who is currently on Parole, is also being held without bond on a Parole Revocation.
