WARRANT SERVED ON MAN TODAY FOR BURGLARY AND DRUG CHARGES

The Sheriff’s Office today arrested 46 year old TERRY WILLIAM STACY of rural Mountain Home on felony burglary and drug charges after receiving a complaint on September 29th from a property owner stating he found a man inside a vacant rental property at 229 Cranfield Road.
When the property owner found STACY inside the residence, he escorted him from the premises and secured the building. STACY asked to be allowed back inside to retrieve a backpack, which request was refused. A short time later, the property owner observed TERRY STACY attempting to gain entry back into the residence. When STACY was confronted and told that law enforcement had been notified, STACY left on a bicycle.
The property owner then retrieved the backpack from the building, opened it, and saw a syringe inside. Upon further inspection of the backpack by Sheriff’s Deputies, methamphetamine was found (less than 2 grams), as well as paraphernalia. An arrest warrant was subsequently obtained for TERRY WILLIAM STACY. The warrant was served and STACY incarcerated in the Detention Center at approximately 2:15PM this afternoon on charges of:
Residential Burglary – Felony
Possession of Methamphetamine – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
STACY is being held in lieu of $15,000 bond, with an appearance for Circuit Court set for October 24th.
