WOMAN ARRESTED ON NUMEROUS FELONY DRUG CHARGES

The Sheriff’s Office has arrested 38 year old LISA DARLENE PEDERSON, last known address in Cotter, Arkansas, on numerous felony drug charges. On September 28th at approximately 8:23 PM, Sheriff’s Sergeant Brian Davis was dispatched to 10828 Highway 62 East, Apartment #3 in Henderson in regards to a woman saying she had been drugged.
Upon Sergeant Davis’ arrival, the woman at the residence, later identified as LISA PEDERSON, fled on foot into the woods. Sergeant Davis drove down the roadway and observed PEDERSON lying in some bushes beside a tree at the edge of the woods. As Sergeant Davis exited his vehicle, PEDERSON jumped up and began running into the woods. After approximately 40 – 50 yards Sergeant Davis was able to apprehend PEDERSON and take her into custody.
When she was apprehended, LISA PEDERSON had a backpack in her possession. Several syringes and other items of paraphernalia were observed inside the backpack. PEDERSON also reached into her pants and dropped a glass pipe on the ground that contained suspected methamphetamine.
Sergeant Davis subsequently transported PEDERSON to the Detention Center. Upon being searched by the Jail Matron, PEDERSON was found to be in possession of an additional syringe and a plastic bag that contained numerous pills. These pills were later identified as morphine (3 pills), carisoprodol (11 pills), oxycodone (3 pills), oxycontin (2 pills), diazepam (5 pills), alprazolam (15 pills), and five packages of suboxone strips. In addition, a crystal rock substance with an aggregate weight of .1 grams was found and tested positive for methamphetamine. She also had a small amount of marijuana.

Possession of Methamphetamine – Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (3 counts) – Felonies
Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance – Felony
Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance (2 counts) – Felonies
Fleeing – Misdemeanor
She was also found to have an outstanding felony warrant of arrest from Marion County. LISA PEDERSON was released after posting $10,000 bond on the Baxter County charges and $5,000 bond on the Marion County warrant. She will appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on October 24th.
