At approximately 1:30 pm a Holly Springs, Mississippi man turned himself into the Baxter County Detention Center on an outstanding felony warrant.  The warrant was issued in March after two drafts were issued to a local business for amounts of $18,993 and $13,680 that were denied payment by the bank due to insufficient funds.

48 year old Alfred Singh was charged with:

Theft of property       Class C Felony

Singh was booked into the Detention Center and was released after posting a $35,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on August 8 at 9 am.
