MAN BEING HELD ON DRUG AND FAILURE TO APPEAR CHARGES

A Mountain Home man, 28 year old CHARLES MATTHEW FRANKS, was arrested June 4th on outstanding warrants and drug charges. FRANKS was wanted for Failure to Appear in both Circuit Court and District Court, and Sheriff’s Investigators also obtained a bench warrant for felony drug charges.
A person cooperating with investigators made a controlled buy of approximately 2.3 grams of methamphetamine from CHARLES MATTHEW FRANKS in February, 2013 for $300. The transaction took place near the East Side Baptist Church in Mountain Home, was facilitated through use of a cellular phone, and was monitored by investigators.
In addition to the failure to appear warrants, FRANKS was charged with:
Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) – Felony
Proximity to Certain Facilities (Enhanced Penalties) – Felony
Unlawful Use of Communications Device – Felony
Bond on the drug charges was set at $10,000 with a court appearance scheduled for June 13th. He is being held without bond on the failure to appear warrants.
