DEPUTIES MAKE SEVEN ARRESTS AT UNDERAGE PARTY

Two adults and five juveniles were arrested this weekend after Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a complaint of underage drinking at a residence on Salesville.
At approximately 12:03 AM on May 18th, Deputy Rockie Morrell was dispatched to 42 Farmer’s Circle in Salesville on the complaint. Upon his arrival, Deputy Morrell noticed numerous people standing in the garage. Some of these people fled inside the house and others fled out the back door when they saw the deputy. Other deputies soon arrived to assist.
During the investigation, deputies learned there were a total of eleven people at the residence. This included five juveniles, ages 15 to 17, (4 males, 1 female). Deputies found evidence of alcohol use and marijuana use by some of the people present, including these juveniles. Ultimately, deputies arrested two adults who resided at the residence and who were permitting the gathering and party, and the five juveniles who had been unlawfully consuming alcohol and/or marijuana. Others were released without charges.

Both CLAYTON THOMAS and RYAN THOMAS were transported to the Detention Center and booked in. They were released on bond, and they will appear in District Court on June 10th.
The five juveniles were taken into custody for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and/or drug use charges. They were turned over to Baxter County Juvenile Services.
