WOMAN ARRESTED FOR SELLING MARIJUANA TO PERSON COOPERATING WITH LAW ENFORCMENT

Sheriff’s Investigator Trey Edings today arrested a 42 year old rural Mountain Home woman on three counts of delivery of marijuana after investigators used a cooperating individual to make controlled buys on three separate occasions.
ROSE ANN ELAM sold marijuana to a person cooperating with law enforcement on August 8, 2011, August 15, 2011, and June 25, 2012. ELAM sold approximately 117 grams of marijuana for $760.00. These transactions were monitored and recorded by law enforcement officers. The transactions were facilitated by use of a cell phone.
ROSE ANN ELAM was booked into the Detention Center this morning. She was later released from custody after posting $3,500 bond on charges of:
Delivery of Schedule VI Controlled Substance (Marijuana – 3 counts) – Felony
Unlawful Use of Communications Device – Felony
She will appear in Circuit Court on May 9th to answer the charges.
