THEFT OF FIREARM FROM RESIDENCE RESULTS IN MAN'S ARREST TODAY

Several felony charges have been filed against 35 year old TERRY L. PALMERE of rural Mountain Home after authorities with the Sheriff’s Office and Mountain Home Police executed a search warrant at his residence on Shore Crest Dr. in the Mallard Point area today and found a firearm that had been reported stolen on April 24th.
The firearm, a Hipoint 9mm pistol, was stolen from a house on Foster St. in Mountain Home in February, but was not reported to Mountain Home Police until April 24th. PALMERE was named as a suspect in the theft, and authorities also received a citizen tip indicating the gun was at PALMERE’s residence.
TERRY L. PALMERE has also been convicted previously of felony crimes and is prohibited from possessing a firearm. PALMERE is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on charges of:
Residential Burglary – Felony
Theft of Property – Felony
Possession of Firearm by Certain Persons (convicted felon) – Felony
Habitual Offender
Preliminary bond was set at $50,000, with an appearance in Circuit Court set for May 5th.
