Cody Lee Wilson

     A level 3 registered sex offender has been arrested and is being held in the Detention Center for failure to report his correct address to the Sheriff’s Office as required by law. 

     CODY LEE WILSON, 21 years old, had previously registered with the Sheriff’s Office indicating that he was residing at 725 Oakland Road.  The Sheriff’s Office learned on November 30, 2012 from a third party that CODY LEE WILSON had moved and was no longer at that address.  Any registered sex offender is required by law to notify the Sheriff’s Office of any change of address at least ten (10) days prior to moving. WILSON was confirmed to be residing at 353 Tucker Cemetery Road on December 5, 2012. He had not notified the Sheriff’s Office that he had moved to that address. 

     Investigators obtained a warrant for the arrest of CODY WILSON, and he was taken into custody today.  He is charged with Failure to Register, a felony, and is being held in lieu of $15,000 bond.  He will appear in Circuit Court on December 13^th.
