WOMAN CHARGED FOR PASSING STOLEN AND FORGED CHECKS

Charges of Forgery and Theft have been filed against a 26 year old Mountain Home woman. VICTORIA N. MOSER was arrested Thursday evening after she surrendered herself to the Baxter County Detention Center on an outstanding arrest warrant.
The victim in this incident reported to the Sheriff’s Office on September 14th that several of his blank personal checks were missing. On September 20th, the victim notified the Sheriff’s Office that three of those checks had been forged and passed in Mountain Home to North Arkansas Electric, Suddenlink, and McDonald’s totaling $400.47.
VICTORIA MOSER was developed as a suspect, and following the investigation a warrant was obtained for her arrest. She remains in the Detention Center with a bond of $15,400 on charges of:
Forgery (3 counts) – Felonies
Theft of Property – Misdemeanor
MOSER will appear in Circuit Court on October 4th.
