Deputies respond to possible overdose; man found deceased.

A Cord, Arkansas man, identified as 64 year old Finis T. Bunch, was found deceased today in a room at the Lake Norfork Inn in Henderson.  The 911 call center received a report at approximately 12:55 PM this afternoon indicating the possible overdose of a guest of the motel.

Sheriff’s deputies and emergency medical personnel were dispatched.  Finis T. Bunch was determined to be deceased in the motel room.  Investigators found evidence to indicate that an intentional overdose was the cause of death.  Investigators learned he had checked into the motel alone on March 6th.  The Baxter County Coroner’s Office was notified and took possession of the body of the deceased.

The body will be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Little Rock for autopsy to determine the cause of death.  There is no indication of foul play.
