Woman Arrested For Burglary of 2 Neighbor's Homes

     October 7, 2010 at approximately 7 pm, Baxter County Sheriff's Officer received call from a woman who claimed her house at 80 Apple Blossom Lane and her son's house at 84 Apple Blossom Lane had been burglarized and both were missing several items from their homes.

     The victim stated that items totaling more than $1,000 were taken including X-Box and Games, Cell Phones, various tools and jewelry. Sgt. David Estes and Investigator Brad Lewis developed a suspect, a neighbor, in the case and when confronted confessed to both Burglary and Thefts.

Fay Andreana Smith, age 29 was arrested and charged with:

Residential Burglary, 2 Counts      Class B Felony
Theft of Property, 2 Counts            Class A Misdemeanor

     Fay Smith was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center. She is being held on bond of $25,000. She is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on November 4, 2010.
