Steven Michael Taylor

A rural Mountain Home man, 37 year old STEVEN MICHAEL TAYLOR, was arrested and taken to the Detention Center this afternoon after being served with a Warrant of Arrest for numerous drug offenses.

TAYLOR utilized a cellular phone on each of these occasions to facilitate the transactions, each of which was monitored by Investigators.  One transaction took place within 1000 feet of a local church, while another transaction took place within 1000 feet of a designated school bus stop, with a small child being present in the vehicle with TAYLOR when that deal was made.

STEVEN MICHAEL TAYLOR is being held in the Detention Center on charges of:

Delivery of Methamphetamine (5 counts) – Felonies
Unlawful Use of Communications Device (5 counts) – Felonies
Endangering the Welfare of a Minor in the Third Degree – Misdemeanor
Proximity to Certain Facilities (2 counts) – Penalty Enhancement

TAYLOR is being held in lieu of $40,000 bond and will appear before the Circuit Court to answer on November 10th.
