SEARCH WARRANT SERVICE THIS MORNING NETS ARREST ON FELONY CHARGES

     A rural Mountain Home man was arrested this morning on felony charges of burglary and theft after Sheriff’s Investigators served a search warrant at 347 Buzzard Roost Cutoff.

     The search warrant was obtained in the course of an investigation into several break-ins at a single  residence on nearby Cochran Drive that were reported on June 6th and prior.  Items stolen during these break-ins included cash, collectibles, knives, a backpack, and a Ruger .22 caliber pistol.  Information developed by Investigators indicated that a suspect, identified as 53 year old BRETT ALLEN TSCHETTER, was involved in the break-ins, and that articles of stolen property were inside the residence on Buzzard Roost Cutoff.

     During the service of the warrant today, articles of stolen property were recovered, including some of the collectibles and knives.

     BRETT ALLEN TSCHETTER was taken into custody and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center where he was booked on charges of:

Residential Burglary – Felony
Theft of Property – Felony
Failure to Appear – Outstanding Misdemeanor Arrest Warrant

     TSCHETTER is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond, and he will make an appearance in the Circuit Court to answer on July 14th.
