PROBATIONER ARRESTED ON NEW DRUG CHARGES

      A local probationer, 39 year old JACOB JOSEPH KRATOCHVIL of rural Mountain Home, is facing new drug charges following his arrest Thursday afternoon by Arkansas Department of Community Corrections (ACC) officers.  The ACC officers had gone to KRATOCHVIL’s address to attempt to pick him up on an outstanding warrant. 

     After they located KRATOCHVIL, he was taken into custody.  A search of his clothing uncovered a cylinder container holding a small amount of methamphetamine and several plastic baggies with methamphetamine residue. 

   A Sheriff’s Investigator was contacted.  The Investigator prepared an affidavit and obtained a warrant for the drug charges.

     JACOB KRATOCHVIL was taken to the Detention Center and booked on charges of:

Possession of Methamphetamine (less than 2 grams) – Class D Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Felony
Probation Violation – Felony

     He is being held on $5,000 bond on the new charges and without bond on the probation violation.  He will appear in Circuit Court on February 25th.
