SEX OFFENDER RELEASED FROM CUSTODY NOW RESIDING IN BAXTER COUNTY

     The Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a Level 3 Sex Offender (High Risk to Re-Offend) has been released from the Arkansas Department of Corrections and is now residing in Baxter County.

 

NAME:                       JEREMY THOMAS FARRIER

 

DATE OF BIRTH:   04/01/1985

 

HOME ADDRESS:  310 CR 265

                                    Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653

 

     The offender was convicted of Sexual Assault in the Fourth Degree (4 counts) on 09/28/2011. These offenses involved the then 26 year old offender engaging in sexual contact with two juvenile female acquaintances (14 to 15 years old) at different times.

 

        This person is not wanted by law enforcement at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public. This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders. Citizen abuse will not be tolerated. Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
