MAN ARRESTED FOR SELLING METHAMPHETAMINE

     The Sheriff’s Office has arrested 51 year old BOBBY DON MORRIS of rural Mountain Home on felony drug charges after investigators made three controlled drug buys from MORRIS using an informant.

     The first buy was made on February 27, 2015 when the informant bought approximately 3.5 grams of methamphetamine from MORRIS for $275.00. 

     The second buy was made on March 3, 2015 when the informant bought approximately 13.8 grams of methamphetamine from MORRIS for $900.00.

     The third buy was made on March 6, 2015 when the informant bought approximately 3.9 grams of methamphetamine from MORRIS for $275.00.

     Each of these transactions was monitored and recorded by investigators.  MORRIS used a cellular telephone to facilitate these transactions.

     BOBBY DON MORRIS was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon, March 25th, and transported to the Detention Center.  He was booked on charges of:

Delivery of Methamphetamine (1 count) – Class Y Felony
Delivery of Methamphetamine (2 counts) – Class B Felonies
Unlawful Use of Communication Device (3 counts) – Class C Felonies

     MORRIS is being held on these charges in lieu of $25,000.00 bond.  He is also being held without bond for a Parole Violation.  He is scheduled to appear in Circuit Court to answer on April 16th.

     The 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force was involved with the Sheriff’s Office in this case.
