ACCIDENT CLAIMS LIFE OF MOUNTAIN HOME MAN

12/14/2014

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a one vehicle traffic accident that was reported at approximately 7:22 AM this morning that claimed the life of a 28 year old Mountain Home man.

A river guide on the Norfork River called 911 this morning to report he had found where a truck had run off County Road 63 at Norfork and was overturned in the water.  The caller reported there appeared to be someone underneath the vehicle.

Sheriff’s deputies and emergency medical/rescue personnel were dispatched.  They found that a 2001 Green Chevrolet pickup truck had run off the county road and was upside down in the river.  Rescue workers found a body, later identified as BRANDON WOLF, under the vehicle.  It appeared the vehicle had been heading West bound on CR 63, left the roadway on the right, went down an embankment, and then overturned.  The Baxter County Coroner’s Office was summoned to the scene.  Rescue personnel recovered the body of BRANDON WOLF, which was removed from the scene by a Deputy Coroner.

The accident is being investigated by Sergeant Brian Davis of the Sheriff’s Office.
