ORIGINAL RELEASE:

Three persons are in custody on robbery charges and a fourth is being sought in connection with two separate incidents that occurred in Baxter County during October that involved the same victim in both cases.

On October 10, 2013, the victim reported to the Sheriff’s Office that he was attacked and robbed of $500.00 in cash while at a residence at 3195 Highway 5 North in Mountain Home.  The victim reported that one man and two women ,then identified as JEREMI JASON WITT, JACKIE LYNN DENNY, and JESSICA (last name unknown), had assaulted him by pushing him down on a couch and punching him.  As the victim attempted to escape, the suspects grabbed the victim by his backpack, dragged him back into the residence, and took $500.00 in cash from his wallet.  The victim sustained injuries during this attack.  The victim purportedly owed money to JESSICA (last name unknown) for an IPod, which was a motive for the robbery.  This incident was investigated by Sheriff’s Investigator Jim Mandock.

A separate incident occurred on October 18, 2013 when Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call at 1:32 AM reporting a man had been hit in the head and was at the Dent Boys Body Shop on Highway 62 East.  A parts deliveryman had found the victim lying on the sidewalk in front of the business with a head injury.  The victim was determined to be the same victim who had reported being robbed on October 10th.  The victim directed deputies to a residence at 15 CR 284 where he stated this assault had taken place.  The victim named the same suspects who were involved in the first incident, in addition to another suspect who was identified as SETH ANDREW WITHROW.  The victim told investigators that he had been hit in the head with a pipe and a hammer.  He stated his cell phone was stolen, along with $221.00 in cash, his medication, and a bag of marijuana.  The victim was treated for injuries at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home and later transferred to a Springfield, Missouri hospital for additional treatment.

Sheriff’s Sergeant Brian Davis located WITHROW at the residence and made inquiries into the incident.  WITHROW gave Sergeant Davis and later Sheriff’s Investigator Sergeant Brad Hurst several conflicting accounts of what had taken place.

Sheriff’s Investigators obtained warrants of arrest for JEREMI JASON WITT, JACKIE LYNN DENNY, and SETH ANDREW WITHROW, with charges pending on the second female (JESSICA) once she had been fully identified.  Bench warrants were issued on November 4th.

On November 6th  at approximately 5:00 PM, WITT, DENNY, and WITHROW were posted on the “Most Wanted” section of the Sheriff’s Office website as well as on the Sheriff’s Facebook page.  About 6:45 PM, Sheriff Montgomery received a detailed anonymous tip as to the current whereabouts of WITT and DENNY.  The Sheriff sent deputies to the residence, which was at the Timberlane Mobile Home Park on Highway 5 North of Mountain Home.  Deputies found WITT and DENNY there and took them into custody on the outstanding warrants.  They also arrested another person on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction that was unrelated to these two robbery cases.

Following these arrests, investigators learned the full identity of “Jessica”.  She was determined to be JESSICA DIANE LEE, and she was found to already be incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Center since October 27th  on unrelated misdemeanor charges.

JEREMI JASON WITT, 33 years old of Mountain Home, is charged with:

Aggravated Robbery – Class Y Felony Robbery – Class B Felony

He remains in the Detention Center in lieu of $200,000 bond with a Circuit Court appearance set for November 7th.

She remains in the Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bond with a Circuit Court appearance set for November 14th.

JESSICA DIANE LEE, 26 years old of Viola, is charged with:
