Trevor Clay Thompson

     TREVOR CLAY THOMPSON, 22 years old of Cotter, was arrested late this morning after he ran from officers near Peal's Resort in Salesville.  At approximately 11:22 AM, the Sheriff's Office received a tip that THOMPSON, who had outstanding warrants, was at the resort.  Sheriff's Deputy Doug Meurer and an officer with the Department of Community Corrections went to the location to find THOMPSON

     At approximately 11:53 AM, Deputy Meurer informed Sheriff's Dispatch that he was in foot pursuit of THOMPSON in the woods near the resort.  THOMPSON surrendered to officers approximately two minutes later after Deputy Meurer threatened to deploy his TASER device to stop THOMPSON

     TREVOR CLAY THOMPSON is in the Baxter County Detention Center on a felony Parole Violation and with holds from Marion County and Boone County.  He is being held without bond.
