The Support Services Division operates under the direction of Lieutenant Ralph Bird. Other members of this division are Sgt. Tim Phillips, Sgt. Lee Sanders, Deputy Tom Fleming, Deputy Mandee Love, Deputy Billy Cox, Deputy Michelle Martin, and Deputy Julie Tilley. This division is a "catch all" for many various programs and activities. It has responsibilities for all School Resource Officers and school programs, as well as court bailiffs and courtroom security for Circuit Court and District Court. Civil process service of subpoenas, summonses, orders of protection, and writs are coordinated by Support Services deputies. They also assist with management of the sex offender registry program. Support Services is also responsible for vehicle assignments and maintenance, maintenance of all personnel files, overseeing the Reserve Deputy Program, and Project Lifesaver. Community and public service events are coordinated by Support Services as well. This Division is also responsible for the Search and Rescue, Dive Team, and Aviation Unit.
